Mark Hix's idea is simple, its chicken or steak to share.
Mighty Marble Himalayan salt dry-aged steak from hand selected cows and barn reared chicken from Swainson House Farm in Lancashire.
Starters and puddings change with the seasons.
Situated in a disused tramshed dating back to 1905 with its original tiling and beams, the impressive space is also home to a gigantic Damien Hirst formaldehyde sculpture of a cow and a cock which takes centre stage in the middle of the restaurant.
Mini Mark's Bar cocktail bar serves cocktails until 1am.
Mark's Kitchen Library in the eaves of Tramshed houses Mark's extensive and unique cookbook collection, and is where he and his team of chefs practice new dishes. From time to time Mark invites a guest chef to cook, there is seating for 12 around the bar. Please see the events page for details of what's coming up.
