Having finally survived the most romantic (or as for many of us, depressing) month we are getting ready to celebrate the upcoming spring! No more cold weather and blues filling foods, it’s time to dive into fresh openings and new menus.
For those of you who prefer to dine in luxury and scenic views the Bōkan will definitely indulge all your cravings with its modern European cuisine with a British twist on the 37th floor in Canary Wharf. If you fancy a drink, or two, we don’t judge, head on over to the 38th floor for a luxury bar stocked with wine, craft beers and cocktails made with boutique spirits from small batch distilleries. And finally, yet another reason to look forward to the weekend – a boozy bottomless brunch, on the 39th floor where you can enjoy a brisk, fresh air view of London’s landmarks, while wrapped safely in one of Bōkan’s cosy blankets.

Monica Galetti, best known for her MasterChef judge role, and her sommelier husband are opening a brand new two-level bar and restaurant for those of you who prefer not only excellent menus but a good wine list as well. The ground level bar will be serving cocktails and snacks, while the more traditional restaurant will include seasonal dishes like scallops, squabs and confit. Indulge your senses and try dishes that would surely win any MasterChef competition.

A new all-day eatery is coming to Peckham, who’ll be bringing brunch, dinner, and lots of artisan coffee, local beer, wine and cocktails to Queen’s Road. Meet District strives to emphasise Peckham’s importance in London as a ‘cultural epicentre’. The idea is to keep things relaxed and social, hence the name, with an open plan kitchen and a bar in the middle of the restaurant.

Blacklock, London’s popular chop and cocktail hawker, famed for its never ending queues in Soho, is opening another restaurant in the City which will be available for reservations! Not only that, but you can expect an extended menu with new cuts, starters, and their all-important cocktails. Both affordable and tasty, the new and improved Blacklock is for sure on the top of our list of places to visit in London this month!
A modern Italian restaurant which guarantees all the food is going to be made from scratch in the kitchen – the pasta, the bread – they’ll even be doing their own smoking and curing too. Nothing short of a fun time, as you are guaranteed to have a unique experience. So for example, if you order pasta your waiter will bring over a massive wheel of Pecorino cheese to mix in the fresh pasta and create a rich, silky sauce for the dish in front of you.
