REVIEW: Olives Restaurant @ The Bailey Hotel

Lunch in Olives Restaurant

Olives Restaurant is located in the beautiful Bailey’s Hotel located a stone’s throw from Gloucester Road Tube station.

The Vibes:

Walk through the gorgeous bright entrance to be greeted by The Bailey’s welcoming staff. This venue is perfect for a secluded and quiet lunch meeting.

What we Ate:

We started off with with a charcuterie plate.

We then ordered a few nibbles for the table including the Octopus salad with saffron Infused potatoes, black olives and a gazpacho dressing

And of course we had to order the Bruschetta on Toasted ciabatta with vine tomatoes, basil, garlic.

For mains we opted for the Caserecce alle vongole e broccoletti which was Home-made caserecce with clams and tender stem broccoli.

And The Grilled aged rib-eye steak served with watercress salad, balsamic onions and juniper berry dip.

We skipped dessert as it was a lunch and just had some coffee instead!

What We Drank:

As it was Friday, I had a lovely glass of bubbles!

We Recommend:

The Steak was just delicious! A tender piece of meat garnished delicately so that the dish was not too heavy, ideal for a lunch meeting  main!

Our Thoughts:

With the convenience of this restaurant directly opposite the tube, it is perfect for a central catch up Lunch!
