REVIEW: Tom Simmons Tower Bridge






Award-winning chef Tom Simmons has opened his first restaurant in London this July 2017.








The restaurant is the first to open in the brand new One Tower Bridge development; 2 Still Walk, London SE1 2RA




The Vibes?




Tom showcases his relaxed and elegant cooking style with a focus on thoughtfully sourced ingredients.




Set over a bright naturally lit mezzanine split level, the restaurant interior is a mixture of rustic and contemporary design elements.




What we ate? 







Favourite dishes will be available as small plates to enjoy at the bar, or for the table; pre- dinner nibbles will include one-off originals, such as cockle popcorn with seaweed mayonnaise which we could eat by the bucket!






Welsh Brixham Crab starter is complemented by the fresh flavour cucumber, Granny Smith and watercress aiol. While the creamy burrata starter did not disappoint either.






Hearty mains that are delicately presented includeLamb Rump & Pommes Anna with Peas, Courgette, Feta or the Monk Fish served on a bed of Butter Beans, Red Peppers, Lemon Oil.

Don’t rush back to the office straight away, Tom Simmons have put together an irresistible pud selection, including Pineapple Tarte Tatin with Coconut Ice Cream and rich chocolate tart for those serious sweet tooth’s.

Speciality beers and quality wine by the glass will sit alongside a wide-ranging list of bottles from importers OW Loeb.
