REVIEW: Babylon At The Roof Gardens

Babylon At The Roof Gardens

Dine with a view at The Roof Gardens on 7th floor; Babylon 99 Kensington High St, Kensington, London W8 5SA

The Vibes?

The views from Babylon are reason enough to visit, but Babylon comes alive on Tuesday nights from 7.30pm with the smooth tunes of live jazz and a fantastic selection of contemporary British cuisine, Babylon is a cool spot to drink or dine.

What we Ate?

Roasted Loin of lamb was succulent and generously flavoured with rosemary. Served on a bed of polenta, peas, broad beans and courgettes then drizzled with zingy lemon rapeseed oil and lamb jus.

The Pan Roasted Stone Bass is interestingly paired with puntina pasta and squid ink sauce, octopus, piquillo peppers.

What we drank?

The Plant Pot Punch is a punchy blend of Cana Brava white rum, Appleton Signature blend rum and Goslings Dark rum with pineapple, passion fruit and lime juices and grenadine. A fruity mix serve in a quirky terracotta plant pot!

We Recommend

Perfect for a group, the Seafood Stand includes lobster, a whole dressed Devon crab, king prawns, Jersey oysters, smoked trout fillet and smoked salmon served on crushed ice. This starter definitely has the WOW factor!

Our Thoughts?

Experience Babylon al fresco on the terrace overlooking the resident flamingos or in the exclusive private dining room with your own private terrace. We had the most exceptional service and there is no doubt that you will be in good hands at your visit to Babylon!
