The Vibes

Prepare to be enchanted from the moment you journey up the swiping driveway. This manor hotel is wrapped in a cloak of history and heritage, yet stands tall as a stylish luxury five star hotel.

The Hotel

With 40 sumptuous rooms and suites, we stayed in the beautiful Isabella Room, with romantic rustic finishes and its own stand alone bathtub. A exceptional touch!
The hotel can host an array of functions in a variety of private events spaces.  The landscaped grounds and parkland surrounding Boringdon Hall are a stunning backdrop for any event and the Elizabethan manor house is an extremely versatile venue

Dining & Drinking

The hotel boasts two exquisite restaurants, fire-lit lounges, and many enchanting nooks to sit back and enjoy a tipple of your choice.

At the heart of Boringdon, the Great Hall is a grand but humble space, where you can enjoy afternoon teas, aperitifs and light lunches in front of a roaring log fire.

Overlooking the Great Hall, we dined in the intimate Gallery Restaurant. Expect an unforgettable dining experience for relaxed celebrations, romantic liaisons, and remarkable fine dining.

Head Chef, Scott Paton, showcases fine dining using the finest locally sourced ingredients.

To start, we had the Brixham crab, curried emulsion, with sweet and sour mango and lime. Also, the Pan fried scallops, celery root, truffle and nor was a elegantly served and seasoned dish.

For mains, the Tender Pork coppa served on a bed of sweet potato and porcini. But the Venison, Boringdon berries and muscat was by far our favourite dish!

You must try the Black forest gateaux, an unique and somewhat deconstructed desert that was full of sweet surprises!

The Spa

Gaia Spa is the luxury spa set inside the grounds of Boringdon Hall. The spa uses all natural materials including wood, stone and glass for natural light in order to bring the outdoors in, creating an incredibly tranquil setting.

I enjoyed a full body massage which, from start to finish was heavenly! The skilled therapists use only the highest quality, totally natural ingredients including beautiful products by ESPA.

The experience continues at Gaia with many heat experiences bringing together the elements of earth, fire, water and air, designed by relaxation experts to provide the beneficiary with a variety of options to enjoy.

The unique Crystal Salt Steam Room also offers added benefit of the salt inhalation injection system giving a high salt content within the air has beneficial effects, particularly for the respiratory system and skin. Or if this isn’t your thing, take a dip in the luxury indoor pool hydrotherapy pool which features an breathtaking outdoor swim through with countryside views.

We Reccommend

Don’t leave this magical manor without finding the secret bookshelf for a tale of the unexpected. A room like no other serving Boringdon signature cocktails!
