REVIEW: Rabbit




Farm to table family run restaurant.






The Galdwin Brothers second SW restaurant in the heart of Chelsea this time, a stones throw from Sloane Square.



The Vibes?



The frontage stands out from the crowd along the slick shop fronts on Kings Road, and the restaurants interior continues to go against the grain, with a tractor bonnet decorating the bar and the back end of a fox mounted against the wall!



We ate?



Try all four mouthfuls if you arrive hungry! Each is packed with flavour; Endive with goats cheese mousse and pear, crab beignets with squiud ink emulsion, Hamhock with sweet red onion jam on crispbread, and my favourite the mushroom marmite eclair with confit egg yolk!




The aptly named Venison Cigars are an indulgent Chelsea take on what you may know as the humble sausage roll. Served with tarragon mayo and pickled rapeseed, this is a must try on the menu!




Other highlights include the Fallow Deer with parsnip pure, red cabbage ketchup served with pear and garlic chives.




Also the Cod Cheeks with braised salsify and langlois butter sause.





We drank?



The Galdwin boys were brought up at Nutbourne Vineyards, so the perfectly good Nutbourne wines are well-represented!
