REVIEW: Blow dry at Blade Soho

What?

Blade Hairclub is an innovative bar and hair concept set to transform our future trips to the salon. Its unique combination of highly-skilled hairdressing and expertly stocked bar turns the awkward and intimidating salon culture on its head.

Blade offers you the chance to experience hair clubbing – whether it’s catching up with friends over blow-dries and wine, relaxing on Netflix whilst waiting for your highlights to develop, or simply enjoying an Old Fashioned during your cut. Hair Clubbing is all about transforming a regular and often tedious necessity into a pleasurable and social experience – and time spent well.

Where?

Located in the heart of Soho.

Address: 26 FRITH ST, LONDON W1D 5LD

The Vibes?

Blade Hairclub’s central Soho location on Frith Street makes it a naturally vibrant and sociable venue. There’s a real party vibe going on, and it’s been fitted out with a bar stocking all the spirits under the sun.

Salon + Bar

The salon feels like the kitchen at a great house party and combines obsessively empathic consultations, precision cuts and nurturing treatments from a bright young team of talented stylists.

The intimate bar provides a compact but noteworthy selection of cocktails, whiskies, biodynamic wines, craft beer and signature serves. Run by Stroo, a drinks aficionado and whisky connoisseur, the drinks are strictly hand-picked to deliver ‘session’ level quality over pomp and price: from Ethiopian single-origin Sidamo Arabica coffee beans and ceremonial gradematcha green tea to rare bourbons not available in the UK and single malts – selected and brought back from US and Scotland .

Honestly, this is probably the best blow dry I have gotten in London!

It lasted days and I literally got so many compliments! I will no doubt be back soon!
