On Saturday 5th May, Enoteca Rosso will launch their brand new brunch menu which will run from 11am to 5pm throughout the weekend.
The brunch will offer a unique Italian twist on a traditional brunch, with dishes such as an English Breakfast raviolo (£12) combining all of the classic flavours of an English breakfast in a perfectly al dente raviolo case alongside a smoked salmon and avocado club sandwich served with either poached, fried or scrambled eggs (£9).
The menu will also feature more authentic Italian options including a creamy asparagus carbonara made with fresh tagliolini (image above left) (£14), as well as Bruschetta Rosso (£8) served with sauteed seasonal vegetables with a choice of eggs. For a slightly more unusual option, guests can choose citrusy sauteed chickpeas and cannellini beans served with a poached egg (£8). A selection of Enoteca Rosso’s salads from the a la carte menu are available too. For something sweet, try Rosso’s pancakes with fresh seasonal fruit and mascarpone cream (£8).
It wouldn’t be brunch without cocktails, so Enoteca Rosso will also launch a selection of wine-based cocktails alongside these dishes. Cocktails will start from £8 and will include a Sorrento Royale, which combines orange and cinnamon liquor with spumante wine, as well as an Italian take on the British summer classic drink, Pimms and lemonade.
Enoteca Rosso, which opened in January on Kensington High Street, has quickly become known in the area for showcasing fantastic Italian produce and offering an extensive selection of freshly made, seasonal pasta dishes and rare cheeses and meats. The restaurant also plays host to one of London’s most exciting and unique Italian-only wine cellars.
