REVIEW: Londrino

What?

Born and raised in Leiria in Portugal, Leandro began his career working in restaurants in Lisbon before travelling around the Basque country and the Middle East, eventually settling in London, a city he now calls home. Londrino is a culmination of these culinary influences.

Using food and wine as a platform to explore cultures has always seemed natural to us. The team draws upon their varied backgrounds, welcoming development to help the restaurant grow as a whole.

Where?

ADDRESS

36 Snowsfields,
Southwark, London,

The vibes?

Modern, sleek and minimalist, the venue is simple with wooden furnishing and walls, with a industrial vibe from the bare walls and exposed pipes. The simplistic, industrial approach gives a understated and classy feel to the venue.

What we ate & drank

FRESH PEAS, PANCETTA, SORREL EMULSION
GREY MULLET CRUDE, SWEET CICELY & WILD GARLIC OIL
SUCKLING PIG, BAIRRADA SAUCE, CRISPS, BUTTER HEAD

Our Thoughts?

What an experience! The service, the food.. Literally couldn’t fault a thing! Londrino is definitely one to watch!

The peas and pancetta were my favourite along with the suckling pig!
