REVIEW: Er Mei

What?

Er Mei was the first Sichuan restaurant to open in London’s Chinatown and is located on Lisle Street, the original street that started the Capital’s vibrant area dedicated to Asian food and culture. Thanks to Sichuanese owners, Sichuanese Chef and a Culinary Director based in Chongqing, Er Mei serves authentic Sichuan dishes that are being currently served in restaurants in the Sichuan region and and cannot be found elsewhere in London.

The vibes?

Your typical Chinese Restaurant buzz…. In the heart of China Town…

What we ate and drank?

Starters:

Shredded Chicken

Words can’t even describe how good this sauce is! So spicy but so addictive!

Kung Pao Chicken

Spicy but their signature dish so had to try!

Crispy Chicken

Loved this! So much flavour!

Our thoughts?

Always great to know of a really good Chinese in Chinatown as I never know which one to go into when I am roaming the streets as there are so many!

Will definitely be back!
