What?

Wellbourne Brasserie, located in the heart of White City Place, features a unique all-day dining menu that is simple, restrained and affordable
yet aims to exceed expectations with the quality of ingredients and attention to detail from Head Chefs Ross Gibbens and Michael Kennedy.

The Vibes?

Guests can dine and drink on the south facing alfresco terrace overlooking the Green. The bright 30 seater Lounge Bar serves a variety of classic and more unusual wines and a range of all-day cocktails from the Morning Pick Me Up to the signature Fennel Sazerac. Ales come from Bristol based Wiper and True and coffee from Wogan.

The Brasserie’s contemporary interior, created by Simple Simon Design, reflects the elegance and simplicity of the food served and combines Mondrian-style structures with teal and stainless steel accents and terrazzo and concrete flooring. It features French inspired oak seating, curved steel bar with striking petrol blue gantry highlighting Wellbourne’s wine collection.

Private Dining Room?

Yes!

The intimate Charles Packe private dining room features a bespoke fine dining menu, with expert wine pairing, it boasts an enomatic machine offering a selection of fine and vintage wines. The room is named after English explorer, Packe, who travelled extensively in the Pyrenees and is a nod to the brasserie’s sister venue, Wellbourne Salardu, a seasonal fine dining and après ski restaurant in Spain.

We ate?

Starters:

First we had a selection of their Vol au Vents which were delicious- lamb, cod and pea.

We then had a Burrata to start to share which was served with white asparagus and it just went perfectly!

Mains:

Monkfish and The T Bone Steak served with asparagus and chargrilled greens.

It was a Monday so wanted to keep it healthy!

Our Thoughts?

White City is really up and coming and think in the next year this area is going to be the place to be!

I loved Wellbourne Brasserie! Staff were really nice especially Roland our waiter.
