About JKS Restaurants
JKS Restaurants was established in June 2008 by Jyotin, Karam and Sunaina Sethi. The group encompasses the award-winning restaurants created by the Sethis themselves and the restaurants where they partner with and invest in young and ambitious food talent. The Sethis’ own restaurants include the Michelin-starred Indian restaurants, Trishna and Gymkhana and the award-winning Michelin Bib Gourmand Sri Lankan restaurant Hoppers, which has two sites in Soho & Marylebone as well as Brigadiers, their latest and largest venture to date. In addition to their core stable of restaurants, the trio have also launched a delivery-only concept, Motu Indian Kitchen.
The other independent restaurants included in JKS Restaurants are the Michelin- starred Lyle’s and Kitchen Table, Bubbledogs, BAO, XU and Sabor.
Karam Sethi is responsible for food, creation of concepts and scouting new talent for the group. Sunaina is wine buyer, and looks after operations, whilst Jyotin is Managing Director for JKS Restaurants. JKS Restaurants was recently awarded Best Restaurateur at the 2018 GQ Food & Drink Awards.
