Located in Coal Drops Yard, Murano Head Chef Pip Lacey and business partner Gordy McIntyre are set to open Hicce. Inspired by a recent trip to Seville where Pip had an amazing meal at an unsuspecting bar just outside the airport, the restaurant will be on the top floor of the new Wolf & Badger store in King’s Cross.
Open from lunchtime onwards, the daytime and lunch offering will also feature the opportunity for DIY open making. Using the rye bread they’re making in-house, you can pick from a selection of cheese, charcuterie, cured fish and pickles or fermented veg.
Dinner, on the other hand, will be a completely different menu. A sneak peek at the dishes Pip is putting on the menu which includes:
-Peppered Squid, lemon pickled kale, bonito
-Garlic fermented black cabbage, radish
-Spiced pork shoulder, cauliflower, spring onion
-Hispi cabbage, cheddar, mushroom, ponzu dressing
-Wagyu, beetrootm, parsley root, black garlic, sunflower seeds
-Muscovado Creme Caramel
Expect a fun relaxed atmosphere to just enjoy some good food with good company.
