Foley’s, a casual dining restaurant that connects people with new tastes and experiences, is excited to announce its next BIG move.
Having started out as a ‘Tasting Kitchen’ in Market Yard, Foley’s has continually experimented with food and flavours from around the world to curate eclectic, vibrant menus. Following a successful two years exploring tastes from the
Middle East and India, Foley’s is now set to launch, develop and customise bold flavours from Asia – for the first time ever.
New Head Chef Sakorn Somboon has been working relentlessly to refine bold considerations of Asian dishes, reinvented into a European style. An eclectic mix of diverse sharing plates will make-up the menu, which has been carefully divided into five sections focusing on ‘Bits & Bobs’, ‘Raw Bar’, ‘Salads’, ‘Meat & Fish’ and ‘Veg’.
I recently went to check it out and my highlights were:

As always, Foley’s open kitchen and counter dining will provide an insight into the creative process and meticulous cooking skills of Head Chef Sakorn Somboon.
In keeping with the food menu, the drinks list will be curated to reflect the Asian influences.
A range of sakes will feature, as well as Asian inspired cocktails such as the ‘Lady Dragon’ made with Gin, grapefruit & orange juice, chilli, bubble & rose syrup, yuzu sour, pomegranate, topped with elderflower or the ‘Asian Garden’ consisting of Gin, elderflower, cucumber syrup, apple juice, lemon and egg white.
Forever looking to push his professional boundaries, Head Chef Sakorn Somboon will continue to customise and develop the Asian inspired menu. And Foley’s will embrace the new ideas and tastes to create a casual dining experience for experimentation and exploration.
