London’s best baking classes for World Baking Day

GAIL’s Baking Classes

Bakers it’s time to rise and be counted, because the queen of baking is back on our screens tonight, that’s right Mary Berry and the team are back for another series of Great British Bake Off. What will the scandal be this year? Will the contestants know that they really should be making their own fondant icing? And who will suffer the horrifying soggy bottom?

Each class lasts about four hours and bakers will learn the inner workings of the bakery and how to replicate the same techniques that the bakers use. The classes will be no bigger than 8 students meaning that Roz can really help everyone with their baking.

In the Basics of Bread Making you’ll be taught how to make a bloomer, wheat free soda bread and focaccia before toasting your hard work with wine, cheese, bread and a GAIL’s canvas bag full of your baked goods. The Christmas classes will teach you how to make gingerbread biscuits, Christmas fruit cake, mince pies and cheese biscuits for the cheese board and you’ll finish with mince pies and mulled wine.
