Plateau, D&D’s French-style restaurant in Canary Wharf, has collaborated with Limited Edition M de Minuty Rosé to create a St Tropez garden terrace for the summer. Bringing the South of France to London, Plateau have made a summertime rosé brunch, a special Pink-nic package and a Wimbledon rosé desert.
Plateau’s terrace has been transformed, turning the patio into a luxurious, Mediterranean floral-filled haven, decorated in lights, and festooned with plants. Proving the perfect Insta-worthy backdrop, and echoing the pastel pink hue of Minuty Rose, the terrace is a pink oasis covered in plant life and featuring Plateau’s newly installed retro poster art wall.
New for 2019, Plateau have put together a Pink-nic package featuring summery dishes along with a bottle of limited edition Minuty Rosé to share. Available throughout the summer months, guests can take advantage of the sunshine-filled days by enjoying the Pink-nic for brunch or lunch on Plateau’s terrace or perched at one of the bar tables. The Pink-nic, served all-day, features a mix of savoury and sweet quintessential British bites; Braised beef cheek slider in a brioche bun with horseradish cream; Lobster roll with fine herb mayonnaise and fennel pollen; Yellow fin tuna tartare with lime and sesame and quick snacks such as Padron peppers; Sourdough bruschetta with minted ricotta, peas with broad beans and cocktail sausages with honey & mustard.
Bringing the warmth and quaint beauty of the famous costal town to the capital, guests can enjoy the European brunch menu al fresco with the option of 2 hours of free-flowing Minute Rose for an additional £25.
Injecting some glamour into Londoner’s favourite meal, diners can opt for either two (£20) or three (£25) courses, with the menu featuring brunch classics such as: Avocado on multi seed toast, with fried or poached egg; Eggs Benedict; and fried egg with chorizo, sweetcorn, spring onions, mushrooms and chilli. Larger plates from the Josper grill come in the form of: Grilled lamb merguez sausages with Provencal couscous and spicy tomato sauce; Shredded confit duck leg, hash brown and coleslaw; and cajun spiced soft shell crab burger topped with pickled cucumber, and lemon mayonnaise.
Desserts finish the menu on a triumph sweet high, with puddings including: bitter chocolate tart, served with raspberry sorbet; vanilla bean Crème brûlée; and homemade cinnamon doughnuts.
Next month, the restaurant will launch a special Wimbledon rosé desert and cocktail throughout the biggest sporting event in the British calendar (1st-14th July). To match the crisp, citrus flavours of the refreshing M de Minuty Rose, the kitchen team will feature a Gariguette strawberry and elderflower jelly, compressed cucumber, mint, Pimm sorbet, orange tuile.
