Review: 108 Brasserie

108 Brasserie – An Edwardian House in the heart of Marylebone is a glam and chic dining spot for any occasion. Placed upon the cobble street of Marylebone lane this spot is perfect for any season with an outdoor street terrace where you can dine Al fresco. The brasserie is dressed with dark red leather seats creating a Parisian feel whilst complimenting the white marble tables to give the restaurant a more contemporary feel. Surrounding the room are large factory windows which can be opened full, filling the room with an array of natural light and a light breeze which was much needed on the day we visited!

Not only was the venue stunning but the staff were so incredibly comforting with nothing being too big of an ask. During our dining experience we were recommended their most popular dishes whilst also being educated upon their own Gin Distillery in house! The 108 Gin is distilled in house and goes by the name ‘Isabella’, this is used is many of their bespoke cocktails and is a must-try!

As recommended we decided to go for the two cocktails which were made with their own in-house Gin. Featured on the right was the new cocktail Yvenia (which is also currently cocktail of the month). This is 108’s take on an Aperol spritz and I must say from an Aperol lover’s point of view – it did not disappoint!

108 Martini: 108 Gin, Noilly Prat, home-made grapefruit oleo saccharum, olive oil infused with coriander
Yvenia: 108 Gin, Cointreau, lemon juice, rosemary & thyme syrup, Aperol, mint & peach liqueur

What we ate!

Aside from the freshness that goes into each dish, the presentation was something to adore. With each plate elegantly dressed, this venue is perfect for a casual lunch or celebration. With the menu containing dishes ranging from Wild Mushroom Risotto to Fish of the day and Honey Roasted Beetroot Salad, there is definitely something for someone throughout these upcoming summer months.

Seabass ceviche, sweet potato, avocado, plantain, lime & chilli
Steak tartare, crispy capers, quail egg yolk, sourdough – The presentation of this dish was definitely up there with one of the best, presented with the quail egg yolk to be topped by by yourself when it arrived at the table definitely added a speciality to the dish.
Massaman tiger prawn curry, steamed Jasmine rice – This was recommended by the waitress as one of their best and most popular dishes and did not disappoint!
Grass fed Hereford fillet steak 6oz
