The Tappit Hen, the latest wine bar and restaurant from Davy’s situated in the heart of the City, has announced a new weekly Steak Night. Every Wednesday evening, meat lovers can choose from a selection of fresh cuts provided by the celebrated butcher and royal warrant holder, Donald Russell.
Diners can choose from the crowd-pleasing Chateaubriand or Club Sirloin sharing steaks with a selection of sides. As well as a complimentary apéritif (prosecco, beer or G&T), Steak Night customers can take advantage of a special offer on a bottle of Davy’s Claret for only £20, a classic blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Alternatively, Tappit Hen’s extensive wine and port list is available to explore the perfect pairing for either of the four butcher’s cuts.
Opened in late 2018, The Tappit Hen joins Davy’s Wine Bar’s portfolio of London bars and restaurants. Mixing traditional and contemporary design, it pays tribute to its heritage as the building was once the UK cellars of Port house, Sandeman. The Tappit Hen houses a ground floor bar, a 50-cover restaurant, two private dining rooms and specialises in seasonal British dishes using UK-sourced ingredients.
