D&D London has announced that 14 Hills, a new all-day dining destination in the centre of the City’s square mile will open on Monday 11th November. The restaurant will be a hidden oasis. A variety of trees and shrubs will spread throughout the restaurant, transforming the open plan space into an indoor garden. Three large pergolas wrapped in living foliage and adorned with hanging baskets and fairy lights will create unique areas for larger groups that further break up the space.
Executive Chef Thomas Piat, formerly Executive Chef at Daniel Boulud’s Bar Boulud will be overseeing the kitchen. It will mark a return to London for the chef, who most recently worked in Paris, overseeing the launch of Hélène Darroze’s latest opening, JOíA.
Executive Chef Thomas Piat’s menu focuses on modern British cooking but with a touch of French flair influenced from his home country. The menu will herald seasonal British produce, with modern French influences. There will also be an extensive cocktail menu, ensuring the bar will become a destination in its own right for classics and signature serves.
Award winning Robert Angell Design International is the restaurant’s interior designer. The firm’s past projects include restaurants and bars for The Berkeley and Savoy hotels and more recently the restaurant Wild Ink at Hudson Yards in New York.
