For one week only, Angie Mar, Owner and Executive Chef of one of the most coveted dining spots in New York City, The Beatrice Inn, is taking over the kitchen of renowned London restaurant, New Street Grill.
From Monday 9th to Saturday 14th March, Mar, named 2017 Food & Wine Best New Chef, will be applying her unconventional, cool approach to cooking to the New Street kitchen, with a limited-edition menu curated especially for the residency.
New Street Grill, located a short distance from Liverpool Street station in the unique New Street Warehouse, is one of the capital’s finest restaurants. Specialising in superior cuts of meat and fish, the restaurant offers a slick take on the traditional British steakhouse. The one-off residency with Angie Mar will offer guests a unique dining experience, combining Mar’s innovative take on the preparation and presentation of meat, with New Street Grill’s focus on provenance and quality of produce.
Taking inspiration from dishes served at The Beatrice Inn, Mar is bringing her expertise to New Street Grill, creating a taste sensation for Londoners. In true Mar style, the menu will feature big, bold cuts of meat, paired with delicate, fragrant herbs and fruit.
