Big Drop Brewing Co., known for producing some of the world’s finest alcohol-free beers, is partnering with award-winning beer and food writer Melissa Cole for a series of live lockdown cook-alongs.
Melissa will be taking over Big Drop’s YouTube channel every other Thursday at 6pm (from Thursday 30th April) and cooking adaptations from her book The Beer Kitchen. On the menu will be dishes such as: Warm Kale and Chorizo Salad, Milk Stout Lamb & Haggis Kebab and each will incorporate one of Big Drop’s delicious range of beers.
For those tuning in, Big Drop will post the dish and required ingredients a week in advance on its social channels and website, to ensure ample time for sourcing produce. Should viewers not be able to get any of the ingredients, they will be able to drop Melissa a message on any of the Big Drop social media channels and she’ll help out. ‘Lockdown Cookalong with Cole’ packs will also be available for purchase on the Big Drop shop. Those cooking along will be guided by Melissa step-by-step and will be able to interact and ask any questions they may have.
Of course, cooking is tiring work so best enjoyed with a drink or two in hand. Keep focused on the recipe, with a clear head and enjoy one of Big Drop’s beers while creating the culinary masterpiece.
