Expert bakers Bread Ahead are launching their first FREE e-book, Seven Days of Sourdough, to further support NHS workers during this critical time. The e-book will be free to download on the Bread Ahead website from Monday 27th April and those who do get a copy are encouraged to make a donation to the charity, Meals for the NHS.
Meals for the NHS helps buys tasty and nutritious meals for NHS staff working to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. Workers who have finished 18-hour shifts trying to save lives, are often faced with closed canteens and limited food options. Meals for the NHS are working to ensure our heroes are looked after and have a decent meal to tuck into after a long shift.
The free downloadable e-book ‘Seven Days of Sourdough‘ focuses on seven accessible recipes. As yeast is proving hard to come by these days, they book only includes methods that can be made without yeast and can instead be made from a sourdough starter. Guidelines on how to make your own are also included. The book features delicious bakes such as: No Knead Sourdough. World’s Best Cheese Toastie, Bruschetta and more!
Bread Ahead are big supporters of the NHS and are making regular donations from the bakery to hospitals across London. They are now asking for additional help and reaching out to their supporters to help ensure the NHS heroes are well fed, through the introduction of the new e-book.
