Dine on demand: Our Favourite Restaurant Deliveries

For now, at least, many restaurants and bars are staying open, but many of us have already reached the point of staying in as much as possible, meaning your local delivery drivers are probably going to be working overtime. If you’re still eating out, check out our separate guide with the latest news and offers, but if you’re dining on demand, here’s a handy guide to our favourite London food and drink deliveries, including many that are offering delivery for the first time in response to the current Corona-climate. This will be updated regularly with news as soon as we hear it so keep an eye on this page and our social channels for more.

New Delivery Options

Natoora – ok so this is for ordering produce rather than ready-to-eat dishes but it’s pretty big news that Natoora, one of the biggest suppliers to the restaurant industry, is opening up it’s chef-only app to the general public. This means that you’ll be able to have incredible produce delivered straight to your door, even if you’re not a restaurant. Head here more details and to sign up.

Foodchain – this one of our LOTI Heroes and is another normally industry-only service that’s opening up to the public. You can set up an account and get high-quality, sustainable produce from independent suppliers delivered to your home.

Caiger & Co – this bespoke catering company is launching a freezer hamper delivery service across London, with new menus each week made using local and seasonal produce. Drop them an email if you want to place an order.

Sandwiches – We’re very excited to hear that two of our favourite sandwich purveyors in London are now offering delivery – Visions Canteen, and Sons +Daughters. Visions are asking that you DM them on Instagram to arrange while you can email S+D with orders. Another sandwich hero Max’s Sandwich Shop is a long time Deliveroo favourite too.

Black Axe Mangal – BAM has taken the decision to close for public dining for the time being. They will, however, be offering delivery options very soon so watch this space for offal flatbreads delivery to your door.

Smokestak – the BBQ joint is going back to its street food roots by offering a takeaway menu of meats, sides, and buns.

Four Legs – currently in residence at The Compton Arms, Four Legs is switching to takeaway collection and delivery for Islington peeps, with non-contact options for those in N1.

Biff’s – not strictly speaking an entirely new arrival to delivery platforms, as they have been delivering from their Dalston HQ for a while now. But Biff’s did today announce that they are now delivering from six new locations across London, meaning that their coverage has greatly expanded. You can now get OTT crispy fried jackfruit burgers and fries delivered in Camden, Shoreditch, Hammersmith, Lambeth, Soho, and Paddington. For full details head here.

Scout – the cocktail bar is making sure that we don’t all run dry by offering a pick-up and delivery service of their cocktails and other bottled bevvies.

Coal Rooms – the Peckham joint is doing deliveries within a 3-mile radius of its famed Sunday roasts, including 40-day aged rump of beef, lamb saddle and whole chickens with all the trimmings.

Pachamama Group – both Pachamama sites and sister restaurant Chicama is currently doing takeaway lunches and dinners for collection, with a home delivery option coming soon.

maochow

Mao Chow – the vegan Chinese restaurant in London Fields is now doing takeaway for collection and delivery so you can still get your dan dan noodle fix.

BAO – the bun slingers have launched a new delivery brand called Rice Error, which will be doing the rounds very shortly whilst the BAO sites close temporarily.

Grind – the Shoreditch, Exmouth Market and Greenwich branches of Grind are still open, and as well as takeaway coffee (free for NHS workers), they’ll be doing food and coffee on Deliveroo.

Snackbar – if you’re within a 3-mile radius of this Dalston cafe you can get rice bowls, kimchi toasties, Snackmuffins and more delivered.
