Championing wild food and seasonality, KOL is a modern Mexican restaurant in the heart of Marylebone, London, from Chef Patron Santiago Lastra.
Kol will explore the cuisine of Mexico while focusing on British produce. Santiago himself has been spending the last two years sourcing his British suppliers and we’re told to expect foraged food from the woodlands of Kent, shellfish from the Scottish coastline and vegetables and herbs from a small-scale farm in Hertfordshire.
Dishes from the menu include:
- Langoustine tacos with sea buckthorn
- Lamb leg tostada cured in gooseberries with walnut oil and fermented chilis
- Kolrabi ceviche
- Tamal served with corn-husk ice-cream
The menu will change from season to season too.
KOL is as much about discovery and understanding as it is indulgence. Our Chef’s Table offers a unique insight into the deep connection between flavour, culture and cuisine, both at home in Mexico and here in our kitchen in Marylebone.
Guests are invited to dine in a room with its own private kitchen, overlooking the chefs at work. The menu boasts exclusive dishes, straight out of our test kitchen, alongside a bespoke drinks pairing not available in the main restaurant.
Private Hire is also available within our opening times, including weddings of up to 15 people.
