Lumiere London is excited to announce the opening of their new studios in Old Street. The new space is 5,850 sq ft in total, separated into The New White Loft, The
New Victorian Loft and break-out area The Chalet, connecting both studios in the middle.
Lumiere London’s CEO and founder Carlos Lumiere will make sure to recreate the atmosphere and look of our most successful studios in Southwark, the White Loft and the Victorian Loft.
Completely refurbished, the building has a modern reception providing a large communal area, two passenger lifts, cycle storage facilities, air condition and wheelchair-friendly access and bathrooms.
The New Victorian loft has been tastefully decorated to create a home-from-home feel without infringing too much on the venue’s open space. Plush velvet sofas, armchairs and lamps line the edge of the hall alongside colourful wallpapers in vibrant boujis designs.
A small kitchen area is well equipped for any private catering set-up, although Lumiére also offers an internal hospitality team that have been expertly trained to create bespoke private dining experiences from sit-down lunches and dinners to glamorous receptions with Champagne and canapés.
The New White Loft is a beautiful, contemporary and bright studio space, perfect for photo and film shoots, corporate events, conferences or any other creative activity that requires a blank canvas.
As its name suggests, it is muted in its colour scheme, with white-washed walls creating a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. The sofas, chairs and furnishings are in all soft hues of taupe and cream and when the sunlight isn’t streaming through the large windows, the heavy curtains can be drawn and lamps lit to create a warm and cosy ambience.
