Imad’s Syrian Kitchen

 

 

A restaurant set up by Imad Alarnab, a Syrian chef and refugee living in London, serving up some of the best of Syria’s dishes. His restaurant is full to the brim with heart-warming and delicious food, his famous falafel will take pride of place in his selection of meze. Hideaway by Ollie Dabbous

 

 

Starting as a pop-up in Chelsea and Burlington Arcade, Hide’s spin-off café Hideaway now has a permanent home, on Mount Street in Mayfair. Michelin-starred chef Ollie Dabbous is behind this all-day cafe-style venue, which replaces Mount Street Deli. The theme is vintage Paris, which reflected in both the décor and the menu.  Open all day and with seating inside and out it’ll serve up coffees and pastries in the morning, progressing to oysters and Champagne, lobster rolls and salads later in the day. A must try on the menu is Hide’s signature truffle croque monsieur!

Café Deco by Anna Tobias

Nobu Restaurant at Nobu Hotel Portman Square

Darjeeling Express

 

 

Darjeeling Express is home to Indian food cooked from the heart. The food is a true homage to our founder Asma’s royal Mughlai ancestry and the busy streets of Calcutta, where she grew up. Food here is served the way Indian food is meant to be eaten – platters of dishes boasting texture and flavours, encouraging you to gather and share in the style of the traditional ‘daawat’ (feast). Their new in Covent Garden location will also be home to the new takeaway Deli by Darjeeling Express offering toasties, kati rolls and other smaller snacks and their famous spiced Masala Chai, which is definitely worth trying.

Bisushima at Page8 Hotel

 

 

Launching this winter is Bisushima; an all-day rooftop restaurant and bar serving up progressive Japanese cuisine overlooking Trafalgar Square.
