Claudine Martin, PA to Army Director of Engagement and Communications at the Ministry of Defence
My role as the PA to Army Director of Engagement and Communications in the Ministry of Defence is unique. I am currently a serving soldier in the British Army having completed 13 years of irreproachable service. This means as well as been a PA I am also on active duty and could be called forward for deployment to overseas locations and other military task. In addition to my daily PA tasks, I have done numerous charity events which includes 5K run for Great Ormond Street Hospital, 10k run for Lupus UK, cheer person for the Royal Parks half marathon in support of cancer research and I volunteered to feed the homeless in Charing Cross in support of Gurseva homeless charity. I have also volunteered for the role as events planner for the Armed Forces Chronic conditions and disability network. This networks supports Service personnel, and/or their families diagnosed with an illness or disability. I will be very grateful for your votes because the role of a PA is demanding and taking on other jobs outside of my role as a PA, Soldier and a mother demonstrates my selflessness and ability to empower good leadership qualities.
