- Savour a historic afternoon tea in a five star hotel in Pall Mall

Set in the heart of London on the corner of Pall Mall and Waterloo Place, the five star Sofitel London St. James is a sophisticated and welcoming place to enjoy a meal as decadent as afternoon tea. Be welcomed and seated in either The Balcon, the hotel's supremely elegant and well-lit restaurant, or in The Rose Lounge, a comfortable floral-themed room where a harpist plays gentle melodies. Once comfortable, be served a range of freshly made sandwiches, homemade scones with Devonshire clotted cream, rose-scented strawberry jams and tart lemon curd, as well as a range of delicate Parisian pastries. A selection of loose leaf teas are available with which to wash down these wonderful treats, and both guests will also enjoy a glass of champagne each.
Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period and Valentine's Day. We recommend booking at least two weeks in advance at this popular venue.
Guests aged 18 or over are welcome, and this venue is wheelchair accessible.
Tea is served from 12pm - 6pm. Expect to be at the venue for between two and three hours.
